Unit Assessment
My culminating activity will be an essay in which the students will rewrite the plot of Romeo and Juliet to produce a comedic ending as opposed to the tragic one. The Cause-Effect Lesson will set up this activity where they are asked to create a chart showing the major events of the play and the subsequent actions each event produced. Theoretically, the students will be able to look at their charts and see which events they should change in their essay.
